As far as my opinion of the MTB course, I really enjoyed it and have recommended it to several other women. I feel like the way it is organized and outlined is very easy to comprehend and very thorough. The course covers so many topics and books and by the time I was done, I also had many handouts and files on different topics created to use in the future. It is wonderful that the tests are available online and the online Yahoo group is a great idea for those students who want to share and talk with other midwife students. In short, I think the MTB course is an excellent tool to meet the academic standards for midwifery. With its current online options and “old fashioned” reading books in hand, it’s a perfect fit of where midwifery came from and where it seems to be heading.
